65 Corvette Fuelie NCRS Top Flight judging this weekend!
Finally!!! My 1965 Corvette fuelie is ready and registered for the St.Louis chapter NCRS Top Flight judging event this Saturday. Many thanks to Pete Rizo who made this car what it is. Also many on the Corvette Forum who helped with advice and encouragement! I have enclosed some recent pics. Let me know what you think.

Beautiful car. Love the Maroon/Maroon. We'll be there also with our Bowtie '60. Can't wait to see yours in person. Hopefully no rain.

Car looks GREAT! Good luck at the judging event. Nothing quite a fuelie car! Wish my 65 FI coupe was that far along for an NCRS attempt. Let us know how it goes. Jeff 65 FI coupe in Texas

I'm looking forward to meeting you and seeing your car at the St Louis NCRS event on Saturday. Make sure you have done your ops check, I hate to see folks lose point on ops.

Good luck and I hope the weather is good.
Bill

Ops Check.
8 Chair and sun screen

Stunning car, wish you good luck. Hope you bring home the blue ribbon with a high top flight score.
Whatever you do, enjoy the experience. Don't take any deducts as criticism. And don't think any of them mean you have to make any changes to your car that you don't wish to. NCRS judging is simply value added to owning a great mid year vette. Show us a photo of how you did when the meet is over.

Like Bill said, focus first on your Operations items - they have the biggest deductions, but they're the easiest to fix ahead of time.

Great looking car!
Man, that's once great looking car. The M/M really "pops" on a 'vert since you get to see the interior and the exterior at the same time. I love the fuelie, I think it's one of the top 2 or 3 engines ever put in a Vette.
Best of luck on the judging.

If you haven't done this before, please take a moment to relax before the judges begin to look at your car. They will soon be pointing out numerous items for your review. It can be overwhelming. Relax. They are helping you. And many of the items shown to you may be worth very few points on the score sheet. Do not sweat it. Soak it all in and learn what you can. And when it is done, your head will be spinning, but that is ok - cuz we love these old birds ..... And then when you get the score sheets two weeks later, you can plan your winter projects, and do it all again the following year
