Default Exhaust manifold paint

I'm trying to clean up my exhaust manifold without taking it off engine. It has some very minor surface rust blemishes, but it detracts from the rest of the engine. what is the best product to use?

I also would like to clean up some other things under the hood such as aluminum valve covers and the brake reservoir cover. Any ideas??

67 327 300hp

thanks.

I will also agree that POR15 is one of the better products for exhaust manifolds. Unfortunately, to apply it uniformly and do an adequate job, you will have to remove your manifolds. It’s really not that hard and you should be happy with the results.

If you want to clean up your aluminum valve covers, you might consider a light polishing since they’re on a 300HP and not correct anyway. I did mine (also a 300HP) with a little wet sanding and a buffer wheel.

As for the master cylinder cover, just buy a new one.
