Default C2 windshield removal

I want to remove the windshield and reuse the rubber, if possible.
I have all of the mouldings off.
Is there an easy way to pull the glass or do you just work the rubber out of the holding frame a little at a time all around the frame?
I know there is an easy way to put it back in using a small cord, any tricks on taking it out?

That was my first thought. New rubber is cheaper than a windshield!
Thanks Jack

and make sure it's from Corvette Rubber Co. or your moldings won't fit.

Use a box cutter and cut the rubber of around the ws. Then remove windshield. It is almost impossible to remove and keep rubber. Install new clips !!! I hate windshield and trim install.

The old rubber cuts easily with just a utility knife and a new blade.

Push out gently from the inside starting at a corner.

It's easy to do.

Done, now I just have to wait for the new rubber to come in.
Thanks again.
