Default Off Road Mufflers from LICS opinions

Hello
I put on a older Corvette Central bent to fit exhaust system for 1963 Corvette............Well, it don't fit that great. the mufflers are way to low to the ground and rubbing up against spare tire carrier. Im going to being it to a muffler shop and have it "tweaked" I figured why not get the cool "off road mufflers"
I have questions...

Does the LICS basically the same as Corvette Central?

I have a pretty stock 327 300hp engine...Those who have this configuration and have off road mufflers are you happy with the sound?

Thanks

I have a 66 327/300 just rebuilt, mostly stock except for a roller cam. I have the off road mufflers (new) from CC. Love the sound! Fit was perfect.

I have a 63 with same config as you. Bought CC complete standard system. Too quiet for me. Just bought N-11 mufflers from CC to install.

Hoping to be happy with the new bark. Will have them on next week and will make a video of difference.

Go for it!

Hopefully someone can answer your question about LICS mufflers.

I asked LICS if they were all the same...The response was there are made correct. He thought they were the "same"...Who knows. I had good luck with LICS

Here are the videos. Don't think it does the new sound justice. I'm happy with the result.

I realize the OP asked about LIC mufflers but I only found corvette central to sell the muffler by itself. Don't know about LIC if you have to buy a welded up pipe and muffler.

I would certainly recommend the change for anyone who got the three-chamber stock versions.

I agree with Mike! The CC units are way too quiet and don't replicate the original sound. I used them on a 427 66 a few years ago and was very disappointed. The only downside to gardner is that you must buy the entire system. However, if you can sell your original system to someone for a decent price, then you might come out ok

The other option is magnaflows. They are a little flappy at idle, but sound nice while cruising and have an aggressive sound when accelerating.
