Gonna start with my pair of 390's on the dyno and go from there.

I've been running these wheels for a few years now.

I'm using 17s. Fronts are 8" with 4"BS 255/50. Rears are 9" 5" BS 275/50.

They look good Tom. Gives me an idea of what mine will look like. I chose different sizes because I wanted to exploit the killer tires that are out there right now. The tire companies seem to be phasing out the wide rubber in 50 series. Soon there won't be any that'll fit. Hence the 35's and 40's. Been watching you for a while. :-)

Thanks. I really like the look of wide 15s like Fast Eddy's. When I bought the wheels there was little available in 15" that would suit my needs and still have a stock 27" diameter. 17s had more choices then. Now the 275/50 are getting real hard to find. I'm using Nitto 450 right now. Not a bad tire for my use.

Love this car, the wheels, and that great license plate.

Those wheels are sweet. Are the forged aluminum or just cast?

I'm looking at the Coker/Michelin TB15s 295 40 Vr 15 and 270 45 vr 15. They remind me of the Bridgestone racing tires I had in the 70s. Problem is they cost about the same as a set of 18s or 17s with modern rubber on them. Tires and rims.

They are aluminum. Mine are made from two pieces. The center and the hoop. The center was installed in the hoop and welded to my BS request.

Really like those ET Minilite style. Wonder if 18s allow more backspace.

I don't want to be walking all over Mark's thread. Here's the web site.

Car is sanded, taped and ready for Gelcoat. We have filled in the
gas opening so the lFIA Lemans cap will look proper once we have the tank in place.
All the suspension parts are here so we are looking good for chassis work once the frame is back. If we get the gelcoat on today we should have the body off the frame and the frame to the sandblaster by Monday.
I have ordered the A/C kit and the pulleys. We'll measure up the carb to hood fit and the fuel cell dimensions once the car
comes out of the booth.
So into the spray booth this afternoon as a snowstorm hits us, for some primer tomorrow...Then we can start cutting some lines, sharpening edges, and setting gaps.

What size(increase) rear quarter panels are those and where did you buy them from? Where did you splice them in...at the roof panel after the edge or in the stock location? Did you flare out the fronts too? Would love to see more of the body work photos.

Went into Gel today. Moving along quickly. I'm VERY happy with how it's coming along. I thought the fenders were out 2", but it looks closer to three. I'll try and measure and post. Did the fronts too. They're hand laid up to order from Jeff Freeman in Sacramento. If you want his number pm me.

Been working on the car, but had to pull back just a bit for a little re-grouping. Moving forward again, and this is the newest.

Looking good! Kinda surprised you're using a stock frame and stockish suspension.
