road trip
sunday morning my son and i left manchester n.h. in my mostly original '64 coupe. 1559 miles and 2 1/2 days later we landed in williston fl. got 17.5 mpg, used 1/2 quart of oil, (original, never opened up 86k 300hp) and had a great trip. wintered last year for the first time in florida, without an old car; went thru several books of "word search" and decided to do it different this time. really looking forward to this winter. seeing the country,(that's NOT route 95s) from an old car is magical. try it if you can. life is short!!

That is a great road trip in an old Vette You will be very glad you have that car down there to enjoy all winter while ours are hibernating up here.
