Default Battery Help.....

I'm trying to get my 65 327/365 car ready for a Florida NCRS Chapter show which takes place this Sat the 23rd. I've had a nice tar top DC12 from Restoration Battery on a trickle charge to use just for shows (I've got an Optima in the car now)
I put the DC12 in the car and charged it over night.... Nothing, Dead!
I called Tom from Restoration Battery.com to order another one but he's on vacation in FLORIDA

Any idea's? Anyone Know of any other Company's that sell re-pop batteries? Anyone want to rent me one?
Guess I'll just have to take the 100% deduct for showing up with a Optima........

I use a current AC-Delco Professional Series Model #24-7YR and take the 12-point standard deduction; that battery has been in the car for eleven years, and it starts instantly every time.

go to your friendly local Delco dealer and buy a 24 Series (ACD24-60) modern Delco battery. Only take a 12 point hit instead of the full 25 points.
Good luck

oops, sorry I am redundant

Paragon and LIC should sell you one. Not sure you would get it by sat though.

I would just get a group 24 AcDelco battery and take the standard 25% deduct on points

Call Antique auto battery and buy it direct instead of using a middleman.

Or cut the bottom off the tar top and put the optima in it. Its probably got an optima in it already.
