Wow. is that a twenty dollar bill? how quaint. I thought they quit making those because it took so many to fill up the giant hole in the water where your boat sits.

Yea, that'll do it.
I took my 67 totally apart in 1983

Then, "faster" hits you in the wallet.

Then people want you to build "faster" for them.

But I am doing fiberglass on the 67 today.

Wife, she only wants me to work on it when she's sleeping.
Kids, they only want me to work on it after I'm through working on their stuff.
Money, never enough left over after my wife and kids have at it.
Time, there will be plenty of that after I retire. If there's any money left.

I didn't know it was possible to actually finish a car. I guess then it would be time to buy another one.......

To many of these to count when trying to finsih. As everyone knows, these cars are never really finished. They always take updates and modifications just to make the owner/driver happy.

You are a dreamer.

Trust me on this: You will never have as much free time when retired as you do now while employed. Get your projects finished before you retire!

I can't explain the physics behind this phenomenon, but I know it to be true. Wait and see....

Ain't that the truth. Just substitute the $20's with $100 dollar bills.

As the story was told to me by my sister when they had a 39' BlackFin...twin turbo diesels...My question to her was what's it like owning a boat like that?? Her answer was a lot of laughs but certainly truthful.

"Ya' know Jimmy, picture yourself in a shower with a fist full of $100 dollar bills...only cold water turned on full blast and your singing 'I luv it, I luv it, I luv it'!!"

FastEddy, GREAT videos of your hot rod boat!

Thanks for reminding me there will be a warm summer again!

Regards,

Jim

The physics fails if you're working AND racing.

Easy now, 20's will still cover some beer....

but otherwise: B.O.A.T = "Break Out Another Thou"

Biggest problem is that the boat absolutely has to be running every summer... because it's shared with family, friends etc, much more so than the Vette... and it's a family tradition my entire life - been on 'em every summer since I was 6 months old, and have had my own boat in the water every year except 2 for 28 years - since I was 20.

Bill32 -I wondered where that Reynard went. I almost bought it. I'm glad to see another open wheeler here.

This is what keeps me broke ! This is fast carbon fiber.

Every car I build is "finished" when I'm done. Do everything once and do it right. Then I move on to the next one.
