Well I think I got my sc and sj confused. Mine is sc coded and I think that was for a 427 engine. Is that correct?

Nope. Most midyear fan clutches were ink-stamp-coded "CJ" for small-blocks and "CK" for big-blocks on the front face of the clutch; most Schwitzer clutches had "SC" stamped on the O.D. of the flange where they attach to the water pump, along with the date.

Well that makes it all better. In my confusion I still wound up with a correct date coded clutch for my small block. Now it's off to Kirk for a rebuild thanks for clearing the air
