Default Installed Eaton -1 front springs...

Every since I installed my Vintage V40 wheels I've thought the front end looked high. Measuring from the fender lip to the ground I was 26" +/- .125 around the car. With the new Eaton springs in the front I now have 24.75". I need to get the car out and see how it drives with them installed but I like the look...

A slight rake is always the more musclular look - looks good. How did the install go?

Dave, that's how we roll. I'm at 25" all around, but I have VBP springs. Your car looks real good at that height. Dennis

That looks great Dave. Your front may settle some more after some time and driving. I just may order some lower springs for mine also.

Don't forget about making turns into driveways etc. The wider wheel/tires will be real close to the fender lip. Dennis

Yeah they are close at full lock I plan on adding to the steer stops this week. If it would stop raining/sleeting I could go for a ride. I ordered the spreader bar from VBP and just welded that up. I guess with the crappy weather I'm getting projects done

Hitch, stock springs from eaton or 1" lowering springs. My 65 has that same high ride attitude and I want to get the correct springs. I am running 205/70/15's.. Ride hight looks perfect. Great job.

They are the EATON -1" springs that I have installed in the first post..

Here is the before for reference and these springs were stock springs from ZIP Corvette..

Great stance, Hitch. You're a bit lower in back than mine, but I like it. It has a nice aggressive look. I'm at 24.75" in front and 26.25" in back, just a slight rake.

Looks good. What size tires are you using? How are the half shaft angles?

Nice looking car! I'm at 24.75 front, 25.25 rear. No rubbing issues but tires are 215/50/17. Ride is excellent.
