Default My other new project.... A bigger shop!

Ok, I have the 65 coupe still in production...started a 70 Nova Pro-Tour car...so why not start on a new shop building in my spare time Actually I opted to have it built by a contractor. After framing my current shop building 10 years ago, I decided that work should be done by people 10 years younger than me It's 45 X 75 and has 13'6 ceilings and a 14 X 75 room upstairs for storage. It will have a craftsman style look with stone foundation and cedar shingle gables and board and batt on the bottom. Should have that old country store/gas station look!! Looking forward to having more space to fit all of the projects in.

Jeff

Yeah, your right......I'll make it smaller, right after I ask my wife to get a breast reduction

Looks awesome. I've never heard anyone say, "I sure wish I would have built a smaller garage. This one is way too big". I have room for 7 cars and still find myself cramped for room at times.

Craftsman Style will give it a great look! Can't beat the concept of more space.

Jeff...
Southeastern VA? Where abouts? My home is VA Beach (grew up a stone's throw from First Colonial High School), though I am in Germany now due to work.

MarkC is also out that way... great guy if you get to meet up with him!

Cheers!

Love it!!

I dream of having a shop with a lift versus the 18x20ft "closet" that is referred as a 2-car garage....

Keep us updated on the progress...I will add to my archives for future

Don't make the mistake of telling your wife about it or you will be building a new kitchen in your house instead of 4 lifts and a man cave alcove!
