Vent window frames different on coupes and verts?
Are the vent window frames different on coupes and convertibles?

Yes, they are different. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think that the glass is the same either. I recently restored the vent windows (had the frames re-chromed) on my '65 convertible and did my homework before getting into the job. I believe the rubber seals are different, too.

Coupe vent glasses finish at the top with a "point" at the apex. The roadster (or as Canadians refer to it, "verts") are more squared off at the top edge. Coupe vent frames are captured in the doors whereas the roadsters are more freestanding.
