Default 1964 vet glove compartment like

I have a 64 vet that does not have a glove compartment like...I bought the switch, and found the wire from the wire harness that it attaches to, but cannot find in the service manuals where the switch attaches to light when the glove box door is open....thx for your anticipated assistance, russ

The light bulb fits into the back of the switch.

Thx for responding to my query. my problem is where do I put the switch on the frame of my glove box to make the light go on/off when I open/close the glove compartment door..thx for your patience..russ
