Default WCFB id and worth

I have some WCFB tops, bowls, and bases and what looks like most of the small parts to rebuild one of them. What I would like to do is make a positive ID of them, and then find out a range for what these parts are worth. Just looking on here I see that they were used for late 50s and early 60s Corvettes with 2x4, but I was curious if they were used on any other cars as well?

3 tops; 2 are 1299s and 1 is 1203

3 bowls; all are 049s. I've searched on here and found at least one difference between the 245/270hp being the primary venturi and I believe 1 is a 270 and 2 are 245s

3 bases; all 1387B. 2 are alike with no hole for the rear port, but one looks to have its large port in the rear is threaded, there's an extra hole on the side which I assume is for the linkage, and what looks like extra small air passage into each bore.

I don't know if there are repos made of these parts, but I'm under the impression that all of these are original parts. They all look like they were refurbished at one time and then sat for a while. The tops and bases look good, but the plating on the bowls is somewhat powdery speckled and will probably need to be redone.

I can post pictures, but was going to wait to see from anyone what pics I should take of what.

I have a box of parts and I'm pretty sure they go with one of the carbs. Things like floats, needles, throttle blades, shafts, bolts, and even some linkage parts, along with other small bits and pieces. I am not knowledgeable of these carbs, so Im not sure what exactly everything is. I can try and post a pic of the parts tomorrow.

Well I have had a few people ask me if I am selling these, but no one is making an offer and I haven’t a clue on price besides what I have seen on ebay for core pieces (which is all over the place). If these were usable cores, could anyone give me a price range for what these pieces might be worth?

It looks like enough parts to (maybe) assemble one carb, which from what I see would be a front carb without the choke.
A good working front carb could range in the $1000.00 area- give or take.
The castings you have are the unknown IMO as they are powdery and could have hidden problems.
If someone offered $1500.00 for all of it I think that would be a fair price- give or take...

From the pictures it looks as though maybe a real possibility that many of these parts are going to have issues with them. Many will not be useable at all.You can a buy a restored carb in the $1,000-$1,200 range. But that carb will have cost you $400ea to get to that restored condition. That does not include the price of replacing partsI just bought a set and had them professionally restored. So I know what I speak.I would say that you are looking more at the $500 range for someone who can do the work themselves

The lid in the 2nd pic in the 2nd post looks to be a 270HP lid off a Corvette. If its a 6-1299 piece then that's what it is. These are getting harder and harder to find. The giveaway is the angle cut on the primary nozzles. Compare it to the straight cut on the secondaries.

It might be possible to cobble enough parts together here to get a 270hp carb built and that would be worth some bucks to a judged car owner. But these carb parts all need a lot of work.

A pair of completely restored 'real deal' 270hp dual quads can go from $2,400-$3,200 bucks...clones typically go for 1/2 that...

Well I contacted a few carb restorers about the possibility of the restoring the bowls given there observed condition and while the caveat was they only saw pictures of the bowls, they all thought they could be restored. Some thought they even looked good compared to they condition of some carbs they get in.

But I get what people are saying, and I appreciate the help.
