Default Corvette Pacifica

Pardon me for sounding out of touch, but all of a sudden I am hearing about a California company known as Corvette Pacifica. How long have they been in business and what Corvette products do they mainly feature? Their ads make it sound like they have been around for a long time and are considered one of the main Corvette parts suppliers.
I have been in this hobby for almost 30 years and was not aware of them.
Perhaps you California forum members know all about them.

If you are talking about the company in Atascadero CA, I bought parts from them about 12 years ago. They were good folks and the parts were fine.

I believe Corvette Pacifica is the retail company for EC products and have been around for quite some time.

I checked in my latest issues of Corvette magazine and the NCRS Driveline. They are not advertising in either of those.

Their website claims that they sell Corvette parts at a discount. My experience has been when it comes to reproduction Corvette parts there is very little price deviation among any of the Corvette aftermarket suppliers.

Pacifica is the retail side of EC. Before being EC Products, I think they went as "Everything Corvette". I'm not sure when they started using the Corvette Pacifica name, but I've been dealing with EC for about 25 years.

If memory serves me correct the company started reproducing C3 parts after they were unavailable from GM such as center gauge clusters fiber optic panels etc. I've used them for C3's I've repaired , restored , and sold . A 69 thru 76 center gauge bezel that wasn't in two pieces back then was a rarity . They were designed to break and anyone who swapped a radio or did a heater core and didn't know about the upper screws on A/C cars would crack them.

ALL are correct here. JOHN FORTNEY started the company. Originally from Ventura area, John moved to Central California in 1977-79 era as I remember. He has been manufacturing primarily C-3 parts since then. One of his biggest items was the C-3 center console between the seats. The originals all broke, and Chevy had ''NO'' replacement . Then John made door panels, seat covers, dash pads etc. for all the C-3's. This was at a time when the 73-77 and later cars were really being used and thrown away. All the major parts houses have bought his parts for years, and re-sold them.

Yes, CORVETTE PACIFICA was the old retail store, that faded away in the late 80's early 90's when Rita left the company. She ran that section of the business. I and a good friend stopped for lunch on our way home from 2012 Monterey Reunion Races and had a nice visit with John. Stay well.

Good guy……nice to see them back re-creating the world.

I have found out about them not long ago and they have one of the best prices in the business.
Very easy to deal with and great communication.
Bought some oversized items and they shipped them to Europe for a great price!
