Find a old timmer in a corvette club in that town and hope he remembers your car or the dealer and give you more leads. But that is slim to none to help you.

You can try Bill Gould at www.autoancestry.com
He traced my '61 back to the mid-80s where we reached a dead end.

I bought a new Firebird in 1974 and traded it for a 260Z in 1979. I wanted to get the VIN so I could try to find it. Called the dealer, who is still business, and he told me that they don't keep records going back that far.

There's no magic easy way. It's generally a function of creativity, persistence, and luck.

Drive and enjoy the 64!!

You can also post your VIN in the c2 registry and indicate you're looking for the original owner, but not sure if it really works.
