Default Down shifting to 3rd

I have my adv and all worked out. 14 mechanical, then 35 mechanical adv.
With vac I get 30 at idle then 50 full vac at 2500 rpm's.

Went with .28 on the squirters which got rid of the bog off idle.
Now when I down shift to third and step on it, it like it hits a brick wall...

Am I running out of gas ? I figure I will check the float bowl gas level.

What else might cause the down shift from 4th to 3rd to run out of juice ?

Since Fuel pump is a bit of a job.. Might want to check filter first..
When bad they can really starve the engine of power

Is this a 327 300 hp with a holley carb ? Holley has a good tec line. Might have blown a power valve . Good luck
