Default Anyone Ever Purchase Parts from Zip Corvettes?

just wondering if anyone has ever purchased from Zip Corvettes and if so how their experience was? I am new to the forum so I'm not sure where people use to buy parts online. I have been buying some little things from Eckler's but they don't have what I need.

At first I thought this was a joke as Zip is one of the top vendors in our hobby. I think just my purchases alone could keep them profitable..

I must own part of the Zip warehouse. They list me on their tax returns I would think. Highly recommended, zero problems

Yep, I just received my C5 license plate cover. Good as the picture, and took 4 days to arrive.

Zip is easy to deal with, and fast shipping. Plus they almost always have the parts in stock, and at good pricing.

My only complaint (wrong part sent, but was simply in the wrong package from the manufacturer) was handled quickly and professionally.

They are my "go to" Corvette vendor.

One more Zip fan. The best thing is their website is tied to their inventory system.. so you can see if the part is in stock, and if not, when it will arrive BEFORE you place the order.

My take is pretty similar to the previous posts....most of my resto-mod was done with ZIP parts....the prices were decent (sometimes with discounts they were the best I could find.)

I am in CA and shipping times were a bit more than I would have liked...for some reason other vendors even east coast one often got me my parts faster than ZIP when ordering on the same day.

My only complaints were sometimes with their web site (which they have been working on) and on occasion with repro quality. Customer service has always been good....I felt like I had a personal rep, I always asked to speak to the same person, they came to know me and my projects and could help catch order mistakes or rectify problems in a more personal way.

Most of us have good experiences with ZIP. Don't asked Dr. Rebuild, though.

Apart from shipping hassles (look where I live) no problems, they've been around for decades

In my 30 years of buying Corvette parts, probably 95% have come from Zip. My first order with Zip was 1987. For me, the best customer service I have ever encountered, in particular the last 10 years they have exceeded all other vendors by far.

Certain other vendors in the northern midwest, the southeast, the northeast, and the deep central south states should model there CS after Zip Products.

I always check with Zips before making a purchase decision. They will sometime carry a part that no other vendor has. A good resource.

IMO Zip and Tom DeWitt are models for how vendors in our hobby should operate...

Back in the day, Wayne operated out of a station wagon. Has come a long way and a long time. Can't do that if you aren't running a good game.

I placed an order from LI yesterday. I haven't needed anything for a couple years. I do not know how she knew my name - freaked me out, some fancy spy phone number recognition? Everything in stock as usual, shipped out that day...

I remember Mike Yager of Mid America doing the same thing, selling belt buckles out of the trunk of his car.

Kinda impressive some of the things these guys have accomplished.
