2010+ Camaro LS3/T56 swap been done?
Posted another thread about modifiying tunnel and console. Besides the mods, would the 2010+ Camaro SS LS3/T56 combo work well as a complete drop in, so I wouldn't need to purchase another bell housing and all related to mate a different tranny to a vette LSx? Right now I'm thinking street shop chassis, and for my 63 SWC. Any other ideas? Trying to do it on a budget and can't justify the $4000 for TKO kit.

You have to cut a LOT. Then either figure out a shifter change or change the console to fit the shifter.
There isn't a lot wrong with the stock 4 speed if you aren't on the highway a lot... Mine has a Lt1 with stock 4 speed. EFI without the cutting and mods. Which, on a split window, is probably wise for the long run value

Here are the pictures of what we did with mine. Console raised slightly about 3/4" in the front - this was a very easy modification and the vintage air unit fits and the console fits as well, but must be trimmed at the top to allow it to fit with the air conditioning evaporator.
The tunnel was modified for a larger diameter driveshaft. Shifter relocation is addressed by purchasing an offset shifter -you can get about any direction offset you want for about $250.
