How much do Diamond Back 215/75/15 Rub on 66 SB?
I'm getting ready to buy new tires. I've read that 215/70/15 do not rub whereas 215/75/15 rubs "slightly".
I like the look of the slightly wider 215/70/15 but I'm concerned as to how much they will rub.
Do they rub all the time, or just when making extreme turns?
Do they rub going forward or just backward?
Does the rubbing do any damage to the car or to the tire?
Any info is appreciated.

Your question seems to conflict with your statement. You say the 215-70 does not rub, then say you like the 215-70 and ask "how much does it rub?"
I've had both and neither have rubbed, if they did, I wouldn't have used them. On one car, the 215-70 did rub against the frame on the driver's side at full left to the end of travel, but only if you pulled it hard against the stop. I personally prefer 205-75 to fill the wheel well a little more, but keep the width closer to stock. Just my preference.

I have 215/70/15. In two years I had one rub, I entered my drive way hitting the curb way too fast and at a sharp left turn. No damage.

I have had 215/70/15's on my last two midyears (66 and 67) and no rubbing issues at all. I like the wider tread and the latest were Diamondback Redlines on my 67.

Diamondback - Michelin X brand and I also had the Toyo brand which was equally good at the time. You can find the pricing at http://www.dbtires.com/
