Default Clock Wiring?

The clock wiring is just simply a 12 volt feed wire and a ground, correct? Which terminal is the ground and which is the feed...there is a vertical and a horizontal plug
I have a wiring diagram, but cannot locate it currently.

Thanks

Black is ground and Orange is the positive on my 66 wiring diagram. Use a multi-meter to heck if your getting 12 volts on the connector side.

It looks to be the same orange wire used on your dome/courtesy lights. If they work currently, you know at least the fuse is fine.

Thanks for the replies

I discovered I had a bad ground, which was causing the clock to act crazy
