Default 59 Fuelie Accelerator Rod Adjustment??

Just re-installed my Fuelie unit which has been out of the car for roughly 20 yrs. (a 7250 unit). My problem is I don't have enough adjustment on the rod between the bell crank and the firewall accelerator bracket to allow full pedal depression (wide open throttle), even with the swivel turned all the way to the center of the rod. I did not have this issue when I was running a carb on the engine. Is there any type of adjustment under the hood on the accelerator linkage to allow full pedal depression & wide open throttle of the 7250 unit? Am I missing something on the adjustments. I don't remember this being an issue back in the 90s when I was running the unit. Al
