Does it have a tri power intake on the engine. If not it's just anther 427 block that has a unknown past that you have no clue if it can be rebuilt. They pulled it or let it sit for a reason

Until you tell us what is stamped on the pad, no amount of computer searching is going to help you. We will eventually need a date code off the block which is on the passenger side , near motor mount....
Other than that you have a HP 427 block....it could be a 435 or it could have been an over the counter part.
Hopefully it was out of a Corvette and we can reunite it with its car.

The number 3904351 and HIPER is stamped on lower Block? My dad bought it directly from GM- looking for sales slip. Found this today on it- firing order 18436572 and hiper truck PA 88. It's pretty well stuck in place. I know the "covers" are still on , I know it's a Tri-power and all the parts are here, original paint etc. My dad put it in a 55 Chevy, sold the car without this piece. Was going to do something with it? My uncle , his brother says it's a 3x2. As soon as I can get to the front then I'll have more answers. Thanks

Awesome! If you can take pictures of the stallings you've found, and post them, that too will help. I'm not an engine numbers expert but others here are and are typically helpful.
Good luck with your quest!

So far it looks like a 1967 casting 427 with a tri-power intake manifold.
The reality is that the "money shot" for this engine is the numbers stamped on the front pad. When you get a picture of that, then many of us will be able to tell you a lot more about this engine.
However, I have no doubt that some people are already contacting you privately about this engine.
My advice is not to make a deal until you know what you have, and the front pad will tell you that.
And for the record, I am NOT interested in your engine, other than my curiosity about what it really is.
