63 Forever

On my 63 coupe, the windshield wiper switch turns, but the wiper does not come on. Is there an on-line place to tell me how to check it, remove if necessary, etc. Thanks!

I don't know of an online place but the '63 Shop Manual is what you need. The switches are pretty straight forward though. Of course, check your fuse first!!

The same thing happened to my 63 last month, wipers not coming on.
Had the car in the shop for a new heater core and had them check the wipers. Said it was the grease in the wiper motor. It turned to solid crud. They told me it was very common on old vettes that sit and never use their wipers. They cleaned-out the wiper motor and new grease and it works fine.

check the ground wire on the motor very common problem.
