Knock offs
Yes they are reproduction knock offs that I use to drive it. When I go to a corvette show I put the original promo KH two wing spinners knock offs that the car came with. Don't want anything to happen on those wheels if you know what I mean!I have rebuilt my original alternator and fan clutch and installed them after these pictures were taken; come on! You should of noticed that too.

Quick run video of the Gardner Exhaust system. Granted, my cam is much different than any original, but still, it should give you a good basis for comparison of the Gardner system versus others currently on the market.

It’s been almost a year since I’ve really worked on the car, but im about to go full speed to wrap up the build. I’ve been reading a lot about the Holley Sniper EFI over the past six months and after seeing their holiday discount today, I pulled the trigger and purchased the EFI tank, throttle body, and put together my own braided stainless fuel line, filter, and fitting kit plus the holley drop base air cleaner. The total came in at $1,920.
Ill post updates when I start installing the system next week.

Here are pictures of the tank kit. The kit includes the powder coated tank, sending unit, and fuel pump. The holiday special price on the tank is $580.00 from summit or holley.

Well, I couldn’t help myself an escaped to the shop for an hour to install the throttle body and check air cleaner clearance. Everything looks like it will work out great except the throttle linkage. I’ll need to do a little research on options for the throttle linkage when I have more time.

Pos, Neg, and fuel pump
So for the wiring, here are the basic hook ups if you are using the stock style points distributor.
1. Negative hook up at battery. I’m running mine to the block where the negative battery cable hooks up.
2. Positive hook up at battery. I’m rumming mine to the starter post since all of my wiring and cables are new.
3. 12v Ignition hook up in on and crank position (directly to ignition switch)
4. Input wire to negative post of coil.
5. Fuel pump feed wire
and I’m also using the system to control the electric radiator fan on my dewitts aluminum radiator.
There are several other wires that aren’t used since I don’t have AC or an aftermarket ignition system and distributor.
One problem others might face with a stocknimtake is that there is only one port in the intake for a coolant sensor. I have a port in my dewitts radiator, so I will just move my temp sensor for the temperature gauge to that location. Most people will need to switch to an aftermarket intake. The edelbrock EPS is a good choice.
Side note: I have a 64-65 aluminum intake on this engine since the 63 intake is set up for a non square bore pattern.
