What Can You Say About this Corvette Towing a Helicopter?
Here’s something you don't see quite often: a vintage Corvette towing a helicopter. On second thought, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that's something you never see.
The fact that the 'Vette and the helicopter are both silver makes the photo, posted on Reddit, even more bizarre. However, as I sat staring at the pic trying to find something clever to say, I realized that a lot of the 1,500-plus comments about the photo had already beat me to the punch.

Last year going down to FL NCRS Event while driving between Nashville and Chattanooga we saw a C 3 pulling a open trailer with about a 69 Caddie on it. It struck us so odd that we pulled off the road and waited for him to catch up to us just to make sure we really saw what we saw. He was going about 45 mph tops up and down the hills. Bet he had some hot breaks at the bottom of the hills.

It's a Rotorway A600 Talon homebuilt; they send you the parts in four separate shipments, and they don't ship you the next set until an FAA inspector signs off on the workmanship through the previous set. Has a 147hp turbocharged horizontally-opposed 4-cylinder engine designed and built by Rotorway. They've been in business since 1961.

You asked ... I enquired;
He is the " rich banker - investor type " looking for some attention. The copter is a lawn ornament next to the water gushing fountain in his court yard. While a crew of twelve landscapers feverish labor to complete the childs amusement park complete with fighter jet theme the copter was placed on a small trailer to find the appropriate setting. An idea emerged to tow the copter to a local mall to meet new admirers. This will fulfill his assigned homework from a personality restructuring class he is enrolled in. After making millions in the investment field he longs for the grass roots style of " friends & family ".
