Looking for info on Duntov Motors
Think I narrowed my search for a Grand Sport down to Duntov. Their website looks good & they say they are licensed by GM.
Just looking for info on their reputation from people who dealt w them.
Thanks

Be advised that Mongoose Motorsports in Ravenna Ohio is also licensed by GM to build GS replicas. Only Mongoose and Duntov are licensed to do so. I have a Mongoose GS built back in 2012 and am very happy with it and the build with Mongoose. Great honest people to deal with. --- Ken

Be aware that the Duntov GS has had the front of the body re-shaped to their "droop-snoot" design; no GS ever looked like that.

Keep in mind that being licensed by GM only means that GM gets a cut of the revenue, or a flat fee. it does not mean that the parts are accurate. If you have a problem with a liscensed part GM will not get involved. This is pretty standard across the industry, not just GM.
Porsche for instance gets $1,500 for a dash pad that doesn't fit. The same with Mustang parts. They're all just in it for the money. Licensing by GM does not mean they really give a sh*t about the part.

Before I bought my current project, I considered Mongoose. I called and spoke with the owner. He is a very "down to earth", and didnt really try to push his vehicle. As a matter of fact he wanted to ensure I understood how complicated building one of his cars could be....he suggested that I visit his shop first....If you can, I would do that....

Not related to Duntov but just to make sure you know all the possible options Superformance announced a Grand Sport replica in 2010 - their web page now lists it - looks amazing, GM is linked to their development as well. There are some dealers starting to say you can order one, here is their web page:
