Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ area
Have some issues with my 65 Coupe that I don't have the time to deal with myself. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the Phoenix, AZ area that is trustworthy and knows C2's?
Thanks

Dicecal - I've never dealt with this vendor personally, Bromleys www.bromleyscorvettes.com, but they seem to have satisfied customers in your area, according to the ACES website (Arizona Corvette Enthusiasts). This is a thread they started about a 65 396 roadster they had in their shop. http://www.arizonacorvetteenthusiast...-4-speed-vert/

Some people love the large showy place that charges accordingly. Many of the in know guys have small independent shops with well know resonable priced guys. Chris @ 1320 Auto is a Olds specalist but knows all the lines from flat head Fords to 440 6 pack Mopars. If you are a Pavilions guy you have seen his work, he is the guy with the real unrestored Hurst Olds. He is well know in the high end collector car local phoenix scene. His shop is near the 51 and 101. Phone 602-930-8170.
His recent work includes the chassis and drive train rebuild on the Fournado.
A short time ago he did a side pipe conversion on a 67 for a discount tire pilot and a major suspension overhaul on a 66.

what kind of issues? I see your up in cave creek. I suppose you want to stay up there. If not it opens up alot of options. Depends on what you need mostly.
Mechanical, Paint, Upholstery, fiddling with all the interior bits and moving parts?
These are simple basic cars, nothing that doesnt involve basic old fashioned skills. But different guys want to do different things
Asking around or bring your car around the pavillions wouldnt be a bad idea, get involved with the local crowd some, the comraderie all part of the experience.
