My daily driver is a 2012 Shelby Mustang GT500. Twenty two miles each way. The gas mileage might not be a Prius but I am never late to work.

MOST of the time, my daily driver is my FIRST car, which is on its 6th engine (a fresh, healthy 383). I bought this from my Granddad in 62 just before going to Nam, and been driving it ever since. Although, we have plenty to drive, the 51 Chevy often gets first choice. With a Muncie, cold R12, it does the driving chores just fine.

But lately, I've been driving the new Ford quite a bit.

No. I don't want one of those, even though it is a nice car.

Our Daily Driver is kinda' overkill at this point of our lives, but she sure takes care of the occasional towing duties...no problem. We average 15.5 mpg towing the Vette.

GCD1962, I'll 2nd that motion! Not only is that cool, but for Tom to have kept that '51 running with some muscle is pretty neat. Love the patena!

The rest of the fleet is a factory 5sp Cutlass S, which I ordered new, now with a W30 spec 468 (455) and Richmond 5sp.

70 Chevelle conv, SB400, Muncie, 3.07 12bolt posi, cold factory AC.

Of course the 56 Vette.

'04 Impala SS we bought new and a '12 Tahoe we bought new.
So we have plenty to drive.

'65 coupe, '65 GTO, '68 Cougar, '66XKE, '53,56,67 Healey, '72 Ferrari and '04 C4S cab. And they all seem to need gas at the same time.

Since you ask whether having a high HP car (me L76 365 HP) is inversely proportional, yes, I have a fuel conscious new Civic that gets almost 40 mpg highway. But the sports bike is both economical and fast: 500 dry weight with 135 HP and a huge rear dual compound tire for a nice power to weight ratio and road sticking performance.

I'd probably be kicked out if I said I drive a minivan - so I won't say that I drive a minivan.

Other than the Cougar, I share your taste in cars!
What model Ferrari? Is your XKE an OTS or coupe?

When I'm in Vermont during summer and fall, my '63 Healey is my DD. It's also my favorite car.
