Default doors and bumpers

1960 Corvette

1st problem, my doors aren't flush on the bottom rear of both passenger and driver side. The doors line up everywhere else but I can't seem to get the correct fit on the bottom rear corner.

2nd question. I'm having a terrible time mounting the front bumper. When I bolt the bumpers to the brackets, the bumpers don't line up the way they should. The bumpers are canted and the gap top and bottom aren't the same. The grill teeth center bar slants downward. I can't understand why the bumper alignment isn't correct except maybe the bumper brackets are bent.
Any suggestions?

The bumpers. Create some cardboard shims and get it into the cracks around the bumpers (top and bottom). Then do all of the tightening down with the shims in place. Remove the shims afterwards. This will work for the front bumpers.

I had heard that unmolested cars never had the doors sit flush at the bottom of the jams as you describe. Maybe some pictures would help...

bottom of the jams is a co mom problem with many C1"s do to (body to frame shimming) that door area to stick out a little from the body . That is the body area that bends (in) when shimming the rear body with shims to close the rear door gap.
