thread size and type on fuel pump outlet?
What is the size and type of thread on the output side of stock fuel pump on a 1966 300HP 327? Looks like 1/4" NPT thread, not sure.
I just bought a Proform 600cfm carb (4160 style) and an Edelbrock 2703 manifold. I'm trying to get all the fuel line and fitting figured out. Most of the duel fuel feed lines for this carb are either 3/8" barb or #6AN male on the inlet side. The setup I have now is not stock at all. Rochester carb with a spread bore manifold from a 69. The fuel pump is stock and fuel line is 5/16" rubber hose from pump to carb. Plan "A" was to just replace the fuel line with the same size rubber hose. I've looked online, can't find #6AN female to 5/16" barb. So plan "B" is to replace the fuel line with 3/8" hose. Lots of fittings out there that are #6AN with 3/8' barb.
I'm open to other options of connecting the fuel line from pump to carb.

Normally, the die-cast output is threaded 1/4" NPT female, and a 1/4" NPT male x 5/16" SAE inverted flare brass fitting is used from there for the hard line to the carb inlet.
