1956 Chevy pumpkin w/ Dana Posi
I pulled out some stuff from my shop clutter and found this 3 rd member that I have had for over 40 years. ( Yes, I don't clean often!). I started looking at the codes and this is what I found;
3707306 - Open Axle 1956
No gusset rib
BA215 - Buffalo Plant, 3.70 ratio made Feb 15, 1956.
but there were other interesting marks on the case as well
Po - just above the build marks
H(?) on top of the housing.
Now my question is can this be any early factory posi setup or one that was assembled later? I can supply more info if necessary...Thanks in advance for your responses...Fred
