Default Charging Issues

I have a 1960 corvette with an engine stamp #1117043 which tells me it is a 1968 327. The tad on the generator is Delco Generator # 110 2041 6f11. The problem I am having is when driving the volt meter reads 0 voltage The generator was rebuilt and the voltage regulator was replaced 3 times and the battery was replaced The gauge then worked properly for a ride or two. the battery gauge then returned to 0. Using a volt meter on the battery hew it showed 13.5 volts After a ride the battery showed 12.5 volts after the next ride the battery showed 11.3 vdc. A week later after sitting the battery was completely dead. I have read that some voltage regulators heed to have a disconnect in them or the generators will act as an electric motor and drain the battery. How or where do I find the correct voltage regulator to go with this generator. I do not find the tag # in any of the parts catalogs. Do I have a mismatch? Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated.

You re car was originally installed with a 1102043 if its non fuelie. Im assuming the 1102041 is also 30 amp rated.A VR that is rated @ 30 amps for generator should work. OEM was Delco 9001 if you re looking for original.
