Default 67 Frame Stencil -Chassis

Recently replaced the body bushings, and now detailing the frame for the hell of it on my stock 67 L-79 conv. Car is AO Body and birthday is either 3/15/67 or 3/16/67 and my VIN ends in 13736.

LI Corvette Supply (amazingly fast shipping) provided the frame stencil date of 2/16/67 and chassis 3900200, 303196-32.

I used some VINs/ Chassis IDs provided by Gary Corvette Website and I see many earlier VINS (like 10862, 10522, 13311) that use the chassis 3900200, 303196-33.

I doubt LICS made a mistake, but some of this VINs on Garys Corvette Website looked like original AO Smith cars chassis stencils. Can anyone shed light on this?

Should I have the 33 one instead of the 32 one?

LICS says Feb-March 67 is 32 and April to May is 33.

LICS is correct, and there was WIDE variation in the style and content of the frame stencil during the year.

Doesn't matter who the body source was (AOS or St. Louis) - all of the midyear frames were made by A.O. Smith in Granite City, Illinois, right across the river from the St. Louis plant.
