It will be interesting to see what the cost difference is between the Michelin and Toyo tires (as long as they have the same speed rating).
65GGvert, procrastinating or other reasons why you haven't pulled the trigger on tires? The reason for asking is that I'm getting close to buying tires from DB again.

I called DB the other day about a set of Goldlines for the '66 and the recommendation was for the Toyos as well. I would love to get some feedback from anyone who is running that particular tire as well.

I've been using Toyo's for the last 12 years on all on all of my cars. I think they're the best tires out there. I don't plan on switching brands anytime soon either.

I also had the DB Toyo redlines on my 67 as they did not have the Michelins available at the time - great tires, look good and smooth as glass so IMHO go for the Toyo's!

I have raced Toyo's for about 10 years ever since Yokohama ended the old A008. I can tell you that we literally run the _____ out of their tires right down to the cords and we have never had a problem buying up to 3 sets a year. Great tires and a great company. Would not hesitate to recommend them. I feel the same about Yokohama too and have had them on street cars for 30 years.

I received by new Michelins two days before leaving for Fl. I have them on the car now mounted on my new boltons. On the way home from getting them mounted I ran the car up to the speed limit on an interstate in Texas and they are as smooth as a babies butt. There is nothing on the tire except the DoT stuff.
