'61 Wipers Won't Stop After Usage Without Manual Intervention
Just got my windshield pump and coordinator back from Capital. After reassembly the wipers won't turn off after they are started. Have to push slightly on the plastic "block" to get them to stop - this piece is stuck out ever so slightly.
Current position matches my before removal photo - I did have a rubber band on it for +2 months so I could drive it while the pump and coordinator were being rebuilt.
Thoughts on fixing this?

Maybe it's just the cable connection, but.............
It is most likely that the wiper motor rebuilder did not originally connect a wiper switch cable to the unit when testing proper internal switch operation.
Last year I installed a '60 wiper rebuilt by a well known shop. It wouldn't park, it wouldn't stop, and it had no high speed.
I had to remove the motor from the car and remove the switch cover to re-adjust the switch mechanism. This adjustment is outlined in the ST-12 Service Manual. Here...

The detailed troubleshooting guide and the diagram of the switch mechanism will be your friend.

p.s. or you could just send it back to the rebuilder and have them connect a switch cable to it and let them readjust it for you.
