67 L79 vert went in for paint yesterday. Can anyone recommend a good chrome shop in Central NJ, Northern NJ, CT, MA or NY? I live in CT but the car is being painted in Central NJ.

Looking for good work, fair price, for 4 bumpers, 2 vent windows, 2 door handles and mirror. Thanks

I know I am not answering your question properly, but in case you strike out in that area, I took my 65 chrome to Librandi's out near Harrisburg, PA. Did all 4 bumpers, the license plate bar, and both vent windows. They repaired the pivot points on the vent windows and a few dings in the bumpers as well, and I must say the chrome is absolutely perfect. I think it all took 9-10 weeks. $1,800 for all of it.

Let me add this. Paul's Chrome, Evans City, and Labrandi's each did bumpers and window frames for me in '86. Today they still look new. In this business, you get what you pay for. Dennis

Guys appreciate the help, but I am not driving to central PA (despite being a Pittsburgh Steeler Fan and Gettysburg Buff) . Anyone help with a shop in NY, NY, CT ?.

I had Chrome City do my vent windows and came out real nice. It had a small imperfection and took back and they fix it. Also buffed out my stainless. Pricy but nice work. They are in NJ ad is in the Services part of the NCRS Driveline.

A little closer to home ,I've had good luck with D&S Custom Metal Restoration located in Holyoke Ma. Very good work, decent price and amazing turnaround time
