3 or 4 is that the question?
Had the '62 out last Sunday, drove maybe 75-100 miles. Some was in traffic and some on the Colonial Pkwy. Only used second a couple times. Car has plenty power and less shifting saves the 'ole knee. Good Luck.

Leave the car alone, you will have the only one anywhere you take it.

I had a 67 with a 3 speed. I hated it. I wanted to change it to a 4 speed but ended up selling the car. I was the second owner, bought it in 1979 and sold it in 1981. If I had kept the car, I would have changed it to a 4 speed.

OP didn't mention if it was an early C2 with the crash 1st gear or a later C2 with the full synchromesh 3-speed which is a really fine transmission and adequate for all road applications. If it were my choice, I'd stick with the 3-speed for the rarity of it. Everybody's got a 4-speed!

I have a 67 coupe that has a 3 sp. ,power windows , power brakes and shoulder belts. a very peculiar animal, I wouldn't change a thing as it is unusual . The car is currently under restoration and apart but I still wouldn't change the tranny. Just my 2 cents . Jeff
