WCFB fuel filter
Stalling and running out of fuel. Replaced the fuel filter and it would barely run at all. Removed the filter and it runs great. Fuel pump or what?

You can answer your own question -- take your vacuum gauge (you have one ? Right ?)...you'll find its also a fuel pump pressure tester (read the instructions) and see if your pressure is too low..

If you have and external filter AND the "stone" filter that's in the inlet of the carb, there's a possibility that you have now restricted the flow to the carb. Remove each and run with the other and see what happens.

I have the exact same problem..Before you do anything may I suggest that you read my recent threads regarding my WCFB. In my research though, I have discovered that you can not run both an internal and an external fuel filter at the same time. I hope this helps.
