All that is left is a little concrere around 3 sides and it will be totally finished.
We just need to clean up the yard, haul off the dump trailer and take all the scrap metal on the flat trailer to the recycler. The disassembled little metal building is on the trailer, plus I have lots of misc alum, steel and brass to load up for the recycler (should make a little money on scrap metal).
This is the front from the street side, with all the doors installed and lights on each side of the front door.
And this is the back side. All the stuff behind the house will be moved/hauled off.

Very nice DZ
Why did you keep a small strip of dirt next to the new garage? Why not fill it in w/concrete? Even if you put in grass, just wondering why? Anyway, looks like a really terrific setup. Well done.

Very nice Tom. I bet you're on a first name basis with the concrete company.

With the boat, 2-3 cars, several engines, table saw, press, Sun tune up machine and misc other things removed from the garage, I'll now have room to work on projects. Right now, I have 3 rearend housings that need rebuilding/converting to posi, which I haven't been able to touch for a few years. Now I can start on them.

It will primarily be just for storage, so that I can get cars, the jet boat, engines, and "stuff" out of my garage. I had the house built with a 6car garage so that I would have LOTS of room for a workshop. It has become so full over the years that I have trouble gaining access to my equipment.

And yes, there will be room for it, BUUUUUUUUUUUT, unfortunately, there is NO MORE room in the budget. By the time I bought the car, bought a rotisserie, rounded up a good 409/2x4 setup and cowl plenum breather, I'd also have to pay for another divorce------------------ain't hapnin!
And I REALLY want a 61 409-4sp car!

Modified trusses?
Do you have any pictures of the ceiling/roof trusses before the drywall? I'm thinking of the doing the same thing but was wondering how it is modified.

We didnt take any pics of the remodel itself.
They basically hung trusses between the existing ones to support the drywall.
They cut out this section of one truss for the Bump Out, then reinforced it.
Ill try to climb up in the attic tomorrow and snap a pic for you.
Unfortunately, I can't get to that section without much difficulty.

We haven't talked too much about the HVAC system. Here's an article I wrote about humidity and temperatures.
