It is a little heavier than my old wood creepers, but a lot strudier (we put an old Jeep inline 6 cylinder engine on top of plywood to move it around) , and the wheels & casters are far better.

I don't use creepers too often anymore since I have a lift now but when I have to work on a heavy truck I still need one. I have both an old wooden one and a metal one. I will always grab the wooden one first. I have also used the plastic ones and I prefer those to the heavier metal one. To each his own. I'm getting too old to be working on my back now so I try to avoid it when ever possible.

You can lock them together in whatever arrangement works for you. Keeps you low under the car and off the cold floor. Clean up easy.

And cheap, too! I use this also.

This is one of the best creepers out there. It has 3" wheels and is comfortable.
There are ones with larger wheels that cost more.
