They are chinese value tires. If you are looking for high performance then I'd look elsewhere. If you are looking for value I hear they are good but have not tried them myself.

Actually they are made in South Korea.
I have had no problems with mine either.

"The company has its headquarters in South Korea, and has manufacturing facilities in South Korea, the People's Republic of China, and Hungary. Manufacturing facilities in Indonesia and the United States are under construction. It has technical centers in Daejon, Korea; Akron, Ohio, USA; Langenhagen, Germany; Osaka, Japan; and China."

The sidewall of the tire should tell you the place that they are manufactured.
Good luck... GUSTO

If "Made in China" bugs you, realize that Goodyear and Firestone also manufacture tires there.

I run Hankook's on my C4 and run 5-6 racetrack days (I'm an instructor).
They do quite well for the price - $530 vs $1,095 for the "High Performance" C4 sizes.
The sidewalls have a bit of flex but other than that, I like them.
3 years on the tires so far.
I'll buy them again.

To be clear, these are not "Hankook Kinstar" tires. Kingstar is a brand owned by Hankook. Any reviews of Hankook tires should be disregarded when talking about Kingstar. They do have similar tires (some seemingly identical) but they are likely built a bit different.
Also, I'm not stating they are bad because they are made in China... I'm just stating what they are Vs. the Hankook brand.

Cost $60.00 per mounted and balanced. S Rating 112 mph.
Had them 4 months don't put many miles on the car but their fine.
WW is inside. Had them on my Western Knock off's with the WW on the out side looked nice.

I think
Kim Jong Un told me that he runs them on his vintage corvette.
PS I like the Tire Racks tire comparison thing, on their website!
