This is your chance to own history...a true, matching number's 1961 C1 Corvette. It's estimated that less than 50% of the 10,261 1961 Corvette's (along with all C1 & C2 Vette's) are still un existence. Of those, the estimate is 10-20% are numbers matching. Their only original once, and this one still has dirt underneath it from 1961.
The car is Roman Red with a white cove. A total of 954 Vette's were produced in 1961 with this iconic color combination...THE combination that is "Classic Corvette". The car has one repaint on this no hit body. The paint has a beautiful shine, considered 9/10, driver/show quality...not museum quality. The interior is black and is 100% original, other than the aftermarket radio (original radio comes with the car). The interior is 9.5/10...considered extremely good. The undercarriage has never been touched...it is original and shows the cars 88,000 miles. Clean, no rust, but very much driver quality. The engine has seen a rebuild at some point, but runs absolutely flawless...and is 100% numbers matching to the chassis/car. The chrome on this car is 9.5/10. Wheels and tires are in excellent shape, past minimal dry-cracking in the tires.
This is a rare chance to own a C1 that is clean and beautiful enough to be extremely proud of, yet untouched enough that it can be driven and enjoyed. I would feel comfortable driving this car across the country. All mechanical aspects are in very good working order.
I see this car as a rare exception, a bit of a time capsule...most C1's have been restored to past-driver-status and will never see the streets. This one offers an opportunity to own, use and enjoy a C1's classic styling.

1959 Corvette Factory fuel injection 283-290hp f.i / 4-speed car, 61k miles, engine code is F414CS, engine casting is 3756519 late production now has a four barrel carburetor, still has the original factory Roman Red paint with White coves, the interior is Red in very nice condition, with a White soft top, wonder bar radio and cigarette lighter that's works, Firestone deluxe Champion tires, runs and sounds nice.
1954 Chevy Corvette Roadster Convertible in great condition. There was 3634 produced in 1954 and only 100 red produced. It has a 235 cu in. " Blue Flame" in-line 6- cylinder with triple side- draft Carter carburetors rated at 155 horsepower. This is mated to a 2- speed powerglide transmission & a 6- volt electrical system. options include directional signals, heater, AM signal - seeking radio, whitewall tires, courtesy lamps, new paint, new interior and more.

That white '64 for $32 looks like one hell of a bargain. If I seriously thought it was still for sale and that was the correct price, I'd be on it like a duck on a bug!

I called as soon as it was listed. No answer. Left a message. Sent an email. Nothing returned. This morning I get a text that I have the wrong number. I mention the ad. Reply back "I don't have the car. Received 50 calls and 100 texts. I flagged the ad for scam"
Looking at the background in the pictures I see old cars stored outside. Even an outside lift. That does not happen around the climate around here.

A age 17 I walked a mile every morning to do the opening-up duties at a fast food joint. Walking through the snow, I passed one house where there was a red '62 - often sitting there warming up with nobody around. They were just cars back then and they went through snow and slush every day. The one in this pic probably sees no snow except when its picture is being taken, but it does bring back memories.
