You don't see this kind of thing very often... so enjoy!
1965 Corvette Coupe - $26000 (Burtonsville, MD)
1965 Corvette Coupe - $26000 (Burtonsville, MD)
Customized 1965 Corvette Coupe. Stored for many years, the restoration is nearly complete on this small block four speed car. Originally a maroon 327/365 car, it now has a newer 350 with slant plug heads, flared fenders and a 60s style tilt front end. The fiberglass work is excellent and the yellow paint is still shiny. The car draws a crowd where ever it goes. The engine and trans are in good running condition and have performed well on several short trips. Temperature and oil pressure are good, and brakes, wheels and tires, suspension and electrics have all been replaced or upgraded to perform well. It's a very cool car that needs a little more TLC to be perfect. Please call or email with questions. 301/236/4842

Actually I didn't see those door panels. I could do without the **** carpet and the door panels. I can't tell from the pics if it has front bumpers or not. I never liked the look of the front without them and I know a lot of customs remove them.

This "thing" was for sale on ebay about a year ago or more. It was located in southeastern Michigan, a woman was trying to sell it and she posted at least 10 times. She started asking about $50K for it. I don't think that she ever got a bid on the car while it was on ebay. I tried to help her by telling her that she needed to lower the price if she really wanted to sell it but she said that is was worth more than an original car because it was a former show car and they had put big money into it in the 70s.
BTW-The headliner had the same quilted treatment as the door panels.

...I had a '55 Chevy with Diamond pleated black naugahyde
upholstery (with bucket seats) including the rear seat and door panels...It looked like expensive leather furniture upholstery.
I overhauled a Plymouth Fury bumper to bumper in trade for that interior.... which belonged to an upholsterer who did mostly private jet aircraft interiors . It was very slick and very expensive to have done even then. (1973 I think..)
Done right I think it can still look good...but the color on the above is really weak imho., and I "never" was a **** carpet fan.

Looking at this car makes me want to go to McDonalds and order the big breakfast. That car is really dated from the 70's. Doesn't make it for today's styling trends.

Oh yeah i know that 32 was bad to the bone! Falfa said to Milner right before the " yeah but he's stupid" streetrace, want color's your car supposed to be man.. Sorta a cross between **** yellow and puke green.. Well that's funny coming from a field car, said Milner. That's what i was referring too.. Plus the 55 wouldn't have positraction in 62.. IF it did, then Falfa was a real racer..
