Default Lakeland NCRS

I wonder if any of the "Florida boys" are gonna have a booth in the swap meet area that will be regularly manned. I'm cleaning out the garage and might want to place some for sale items with somebody for a "consignment sale". Commission to be paid of course.

Mostly small stuff but a few biggees; e.g. "new in the box" Al Knoch '61 door and kick panel sheet metal (holes not cut so works for power or manual windows); WCFB dual quad 270hp 'clone' carbs (I'm swapping my 'real deal' carbs on to the car next month); an Edelbrock C3BX intake; Carter AFB 3721SB; lots of very slightly dinged cove molding; stuff like that.

I can provide my own folding table if needed

Thanks - I'll see what stuff I can gather up...

NOT the C3BX intake manifold though....apparently Revfan (our German-based Corvette friend) is incensed I would sell it without giving him a first pass at it...

I don't want to endanger international overseas relationships...

Naw! Love bugs have been pretty tame so far this year. I'm just amazed at the collection of parts you accumulate after owning one of these cars for a few years due to:

1) Ordering the wrong thing (or too many of the right thing) when fixing a system and wind up with spare parts not worth the cost to return,
2) Building a stash of parts for some project that never happens,
3) Paranoia about not finding rare parts so you hoard spares,
4) Paranoia about being off the road due to breakdowns so you hoard more spare parts.

I'm over most of that now (not all of it) so I'm gonna do a 'purge' of a bunch of stuff. Its time.

Good example: at one point I had four pristine 1961 parking brake dash warning light flasher switches. (Down to one spare now as I've sold the rest or traded them for parts/favors). Pretty silly huh ?

Default Hoarders

One day we will have our own segment on the show Hoarders. Maybe I will finely get the psychological help I need with respect to collecting cars and parts Jerry
