A 6-year-old's first ride...
This was taken earlier today with my daughter. Yes, I know I drive like an old woman; I'm getting used to the car.

My first ride in a C1 back in the late 50's was one of my earliest memories (that I continue to treasure), and was an ingredient in my getting out of Appalachia (emotionally and vocationally)(no insult to my family).
You never know which events will trigger future action.
Cute daughter, BTW. Keep her away from my wife. She''ll never forgive me for not giving her a daughter.

My daughter is the only one that ever rides in mine. We have had the 60 for a year and my wife has rode in it once (we tricked her). That is her seat and she gets upset if anyone else thinks they are gonna get a ride

Very nice video She looked like she was really enjoying the ride. It reminds of the drives I took my daughters on when they were young. They used to ask me to make them "stick to the seat". They loved the feeling of acceleration.

I am just seeing this....
Awesome!
I took my daughter out last week (she is 12 going on 21) and had a blast!
I absolutely HAVE to retire some place where there is a 12 month driving season. I am getting depressed just thinking about taking the 67 off the road.

Be warned... :)
What you are starting now at 6 yr old lasts for a lifetime...case in point...my now 23 yr old daughter grew up in my hotrods, the best being the 68 convertible tripower GTO; and now that I have my 63 convertible Vette, guess who is eyeballing it for later? I just tell her "Fergit it, you gotta earn yer own horsepower!" She has been a horsepower junkie ever since that first ride in the GTO. You are an awesome DAD.
