CARS & COFFEE - PASTEINER's 10/25/14
Stumbled onto this weekly, Saturday event in Birmingham, MI. It's been going on for years. I must be living under a rock (LOL!). I was surfin' last night, looking for any cars and coffee places and found Pasteiner's. Just a little store front right on Woodward, just north of 14 mile in Birmingham, MI. Not a lot of parking space but I'm here to tell you, they filled it and spilled out onto the alley way and side street.
What a great mix of cars. From turn of the century through early British sports cars to the exotic Lambo's, Ferraaris, Pantera. Muscle cars abounded with a good representation of Vettes as well as a couple Avantis.
Bumped into fellow forum member Ricks327. Had a GREAT time
Mouth was watering and thought I stumbled into "car nut" heaven,
Steve Pasteiner, the owner, was real friendly and said that there's a group of die hards who come in the dead of winter (as long as the roads are dry).
Turns out the decision makers at the "BIG THREE" on styling and performance show up periodically with "prototypes". Just a neat scene.
You know I'll be back.
For your enjoyment, just click on this link...lots of eye candy.

Great pics, Jim - if Steve doesn't have a particular die-cast car or book, they didn't make it. I've dropped LOTS of bucks in that shop over the years! I was born & raised in Birmingham.

Good to hook up with you Jim, not born in Birmingham but parents moved us there in 1957, still there (well almost, now 3/4 mile south), worked for the city for 32 years.
Lots of the Big 3 and high end automotive types show up on Saturday. Ed Welburn showed up a few years back in his Camaro along with Mark Steilow in one of his Pro-Touring Camaro's.
Come back again.

The best part of "cars and coffee" is the variety. Nice pictures. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting...looks like a great variety of cars. Even two Avanti's there.....and that white Transam brought back memories of my old 75 Firebird I bought new (white, burgundy interior, honeycombs, spoiler).

Jim,
Great pics, thanks for taking the time. I noticed you seemed to really like that 62 Impala! That would have been one of my favorites too! Had one just like that in burgundy!
