Power steering pump does not line up...at all
In the process of putting this '67 convertible back together...car came to me in a million pieces. Cleaned up and mounted the power steering pump tonight, and the pulley does not even come close to lining up with the crank and water pump pulleys, which line up together perfectly.
I can't be sure this is the right pump or brackets for this car...I got a bunch of boxes with parts for everything ranging from a 67 Corvette to a late 70s model Buick. Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Here's a couple photos...
My pump...
Mounted (not fully bolted in, but the bracket is flush with the block)

You sure it dosent get a add on step out pulley for the crank. If not I would say you have the wrong brackets or PS pulley or both

There are a couple of different setups depending on year and whether or not there is A/C installed.
I believe for 67, you are missing the "add-on" pulley at the crankshaft. With power steering, there are 3 belt grooves on the crank, although you only use 2.

I have the original single-groove pulley for the crank. What does the add-on or step-out pulley look like.

This car was initially a non-power steering / non-AC car. I've since added PS and Vintage Air as I reassemble it. So it may very well be that I need the "add-on" pulley you guys are describing...
