Default The (WTB) Project Files C1/C2

I've received lots of positive comments publicly and privately for the daily-ish craigslist post linking at the Opinions on these C1/C2 for sale

I have been asked to include projects, and time allowing, I'll post some I find. I'll just post the link and the pic, just click it to get to the Craigslist ad... if its a dead link, its probably been sold.

As with the other thread, I am making no claims about these cars, so enter at your own risk. Comment if you feel the need, and maybe we can help the Corvette Brotherhood out!

Nothing like starting off with a bang right? This has been posted before, but surprise surprise, its still available!
65 Corvette Chassis - $2000 (Yuba City)

1965 Corvette with matching VIN numbers - $12500 (813 Shrewsbury Rd. Jefferson, LA 70121)

1956 CORVETTE - $27500 (S. GLENS FALLS, NY)

1967 427 Corvette Roadster - $30000 (Newark,Ohio)

1967 Corvette Roadster with 70,904 miles on the odometer. 427 cubic inches. 4 speed. I've owned this car since 1973. In 1986, I bought a 1983 Harley Davidson Wide Glide ( of which it is also for sale ) and I sort of parked the Vette and forgot about it until lately. It has sat in the garage, only getting out to get washed off and go for a short ride once or twice a year then put away again. The past few years it has been at the mercy of nephews and nieces and their bicycles and anything else that will chip or scratch it and of course...Neglect on my part and bad advice from a local car buff on how to remove the paint. I'm ashamed that I let such a fantastic car get ignored but 15 years ago I got a divorce and the custody of my 2 beautiful daughters and they became my #1 priority. Being realistic, my health, time and lack of funds prevent me from restoring it but I'm sure there is someone that has the time and money to bring it back to what it used to be. It doesn't have original 427/435hp motor but it does have a 1969 Big Block crate motor in it. Selling to someone that might want to preserve a piece of American Muscle Car History. I held on to this car with the dream of someday cruising the streets again, but reality says sell it and spend my free time with my daughters. I'm ready to sell and might consider a trade and cash type deal...example....Mustang 5.0 and cash.....or possibly some other muscle car that I might be interested in. I'm open to offers. Just don't want or need something that I'm going to have to put lots of time and money into.
1966 Corvette big block project car - $33000 (Yakima)

Corvette convertible for sale. is missing the engine, headlight buckets, and a few parts. frame is outstanding. car is currently at the body shop having front clip installed. Original 425 HP car with dark blue seat covers that need installed. No texts, phone calls only. 509x480x0790

My favorite detail is on the one that was on fire, he fills out the paint color as blue.

Here is a 61 Project... oh, if I only had the cash!
1961 Corvette - $38500 (n. plainfield)http://images.craigslist.org/00M0M_1...5e_600x450.jpg

1961 Corvette Project has been sitting since the 1982. Laser straight body lines and real nice gaps. It has a 350ci in that has seized up. 4 speed, 2 tops. Has Fuel Injected emblems on fenders but does not look to be a original Fuelie car.. needs brakes, fuel system gone over for a car that has been sitting so long.. Solid frame. (908) 507 5597 Bill

Neat 65 Coupe with AC.
1965 Corvette Barn Find - $35000 (Bullhead City AZ.)

1965 Corvette that was pulled out of long term storage after being parked since the mid 80's. Has no hit body with orig Goldwood Yellow paint. Only 1275 corvettes were painted this color in 1965. This car appears to have never been painted. Has factory side pipes, orig. interior. Carpet is faded and driver's seat has seam coming undone. Dash has a crack above the pass. grab bar. Right door panel has a small crack. Motor is a late 60's motor, not numbers matching. Car was a 4 speed that someone changed over to an automatic, but clutch pedal is still there and I do have a 4 speed bell housing for it. This is a rare Air Condition car, not many were made with Air Condition. It needs brake work. Car is located in AZ. Put Goldwood Yellow in header when emailing me so I know it is not spam.

I REALLY dig this car... which is ironic cause there was a time when I didn't care much for non stock stuff. If I had the dough, I'd be on this "like a hobo on a ham sandwich!"

1966 Corvette Coupe - $35000 (Bluff City)

1966 Corvette Coupe -- mild custom.

Body: This car has fender flares and front spoiler giving it that early 70's road race look. It has a GM big block hood. Currently needing repaint finished due to putting new flares on the rear. Interior has stock dash with diamond pleated door panels, headliner, door panels and a couple other spots. Original color was white with silver interior.

Mechanical: Matching # 327-350hp, 4 speed, rough idle cam, Mallory distributor, (have GM tach drive dist also), headers into side exhaust (yes I have nice covers). Total new rear suspension (trailing arms, spindles, stainless brakes, etc. Engine rebuild has about 15k miles on it. The car has 110k miles. Wheels are 15x8.5 American T70 with knockoffs and Goodyear Tires.

This is a very good car and in need of the paint finished. It's been on three 700+ mile trips to/from Bowling Green and got 17mpg on the road. I do not need to sell or care if I sell the car as I really like it. It's only for sale because I have other projects that need my time and I really don't have time for any of them. This Vette has been garage kept since 1975 that I know of and has a very dry and rust free frame & birdcage.

TERMS: $35,000. As Is - CASH (well below what I have invested). May consider trade of a uncut steel 1933, 1940 ****** coupe or steel 32 Ford 5 window. Serious inquires only.
1963 Corvette Coupe Restoration Project - $33500 (smithton,ill)

1963 Corvette Coupe, 327-340 hp, 4 speed, numbers match , VIN #816, body #334. Tuxedo Black paint with Black interior. Very rare and correct color combination. Low mile original and unrestored other than rebuilt motor, transmission, brakes, and new exhaust with patinazation of all finishes so this car should qualify for a Bloomington Gold Survivor award once completed. Optioned with 3.55 posi, Wonderbar radio, hubcaps, and 6.70x15" white stripe tires. Most all factory correct type components! Built on October 1st or 2nd with the following famous Z06 race cars VIN #684, 701, 787, 809, 813, 875, and 895. It is believed that the corvette #816 is only one body number higher than the Bondurant Z06 #813 that is now owned by Vic Eldebrock and there is special air ducting from the front core support to the firewall. Good car to restore once completed.
1964 Corvette Coupe - $28500 (Watertown SD)

1964 Coupe 327 365 HP, 4speed trans. numbers matching car, has small flares & paint is driver quality at best. original Daytona blue car with blue interior. Dash and upholstery are in great shape. rust free frame, runs and drives great. call for info 605-868-2279
1959 Corvette - $17500

Nice straight body on rolling chassis. No drive train, chrome, or interior. Good Title. Rear wheel wells cut out of trunk. Extra tail clip included with rear wheel wells intact.

If the blue SWC in IL is solid and has the stainless that looks like a very decent deal, Greg.
