Default Chuck Gongloff Semi-Retired from Forum?

Clicked on a thread about Florida YOM plates and saw a post by Chuck in April 2014 and thought that I haven't seen many posts by Chuck lately. Is he semi- retired from the Forum or just enjoying life after retiring from a harrowing dental practice? (Father-in-law & grandfather-in-law were dentists) He use to post frequently.
Hope all is well.
Rick

Chuck is pretty busy in retirement these days! Always something to do, or somewhere to go. He hangs out at Vetteheads on a daily basis ,so he is alive and kicking. I see him over at the Tri-five.com forum pretty regularly as well.

As John said, Doc Chuck is enjoying life to the fullest. He's got his priorities in order.

I know he and wife just got back from a "bucket list" European cruise and was posting from shipboard not long ago....think he's still active and well....just engaged elsewhere.

Check didn't retire, he just changed jobs.

However, his new job description is "enjoy life to the fullest".

I saw him a couple of weeks ago at the NCRS Tech Session in Punta Gorda. He bought a new "rod" and will be tinkering with it. He looked great. Back from euro vaca. I envy the retired who have the means to enjoy the retirement. Good for him.....ARA

He is enjoying his "turn key" retirement. Turn the key and drive the miles to get the smiles! Dennis

I almost got him to come out of retirement to do one final dental implant for me a couple of weeks ago.

But then he started talking about doing it in his garage using Bud Lite as the anesthetic and a grade 8 bolt for the implant.

I backed out

Now I know why he asked Pat to get him a hammer drill for his birthday.

Default Man if he is basically retired from the Forum, we could

make him into a legend. I saw him at the top of Mount Everest! Who else has had a sighting?

Also my question is how do you semi-retire from the Forum, only post on odd or even days?

Maybe you should use these guys for your tooth.

Maybe I should.

I just got the "treatment plan" for a single implant. Read that as dentist-speak for "an estimate of your dental bill that will put you in cardiac arrest".

That amount would buy a LOT of car parts

Chuck's deal is looking better and better if he would just switch to Corona for the anesthetic.

If you proceed with the event, make sure he uses Snap-On tools. Dennis

I'm alive and well, living here in sunny Florida.

Been busy. Just got back from an 8 day trip to the Florida Keys, kayaking, fishing, etc. etc. Even took in part of Fantasy Fest. It's not for the faint of heart.............

Was in Europe on a river cruise for about 3 weeks back in June, then spent a week in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee after that.

Retirement is exhausting.

I bought a 37 Chevy coupe street rod that needs some work, so I've been playing with that since Memorial Day.

Still have the 63 FI car and also have an 06 roadster.

Still have the 56 Chevy hot rod too. Sold my 69 big block to make room for the new coupe project.

Glad to see I'm missed.

Frank, my offer on the free dental implant still stands. I have a new bench vise that should hold your head steady..........

Chuck

Chuck
It would be greatly appreciated if you do not display any pictures of yourself while at Fantasy Fest!
